Before a Hurtta product is ready to be launched, its makers have worked hundreds of hours testing and fitting.
Naturally violent in behavior, dogs set challenges to the durability and functionality of both materials and structures. To guarantee a high quality of its products, Hurtta has the applicability of each material tested by an unbiased textile laboratory.
The products are also continuously tested by both working dogs and active sportsmen, whose extreme requirements determine the results of the product development.
In 2008, Hurtta products are tested in the test laboratory of the Technical Research Centre of Finland, in the textile laboratory of TAMK University of Applied Sciences, by seal dogs in the Gulf of Bothnia, by top participants in the World Championships in Agility, in mountain test in Northern Lapland, etc.
Hurtta’s popularity is based on decades of research en development, an unyielding attitude, and continued innovation. Thorough familiarity with the target group it is foundation.
